V6B design group is a recognized world leader in the high-end kitchen and room-specific design industry. We specialize in kitchens, interiors and luxury millwork that require a unique combination of aesthetics, utility, organization and detailed planning to create beautiful and functional spaces. Our award-winning work is the result of 35 years of experience collaborating with other design & industry professionals, and integrating innovative design with exceptional global products in homes across North America, Europe, and Asia.

V6B design group has gone digital, virtually offering our diverse portfolio with multiple programs, including V6B Design, V6B Remote, V6B Select, V6B Luxury Millwork, V6B Kitchen Facelift, and an extensive virtual process for remote projects worldwide.

History

Earl Lawson’s early desire to improve people’s quality of life led him to pursue and achieve degrees in Business and Physical Education. After playing professional hockey in Germany in the late 1970’s, Lawson moved to Calgary and started his career in the kitchen business. With a start managing a retail outlet for Kitchen Craft Canada, Earl opened up operations in Vancouver and took over ownership of the company. Subsequently, he partnered in the opening of Showcase Kitchen Interiors, which eventually evolved into its current manifestation as V6B design group. Lawson is passionate about improving quality of life by providing tangible solutions to create beauty and functionality in the home, with a creative design style that focuses on 3 pillars: Balance, Proportion, and Detail.

Expansion

After 25 years, V6B’s award-winning showroom has been transformed into a shared workspace and resource centre for the residential design industry.
As V6B took the business digital, it was important to founder & President, Earl Lawson, to use V6B’s standing in the design community to create a supportive space for other up-and-comers in the industry – inspiring him to establish CUBE Creative Cowork & CUBE Creative Studio.

CUBE Creative provides members with valuable industry resources, including a diverse product library, meeting and presentation spaces, shared and private workspaces, and networking events designed to connect members within the community.

You will find V6B’s Head Office & Design Studio located at our same address as the founding resident of CUBE Creative.
